Lesley Ann Brandt, born December 2, 1981 in Cape Town South Africa is an actress and model. Her appearances on TV movies and series are among her most notable work. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut in Spartacus: Blood and Sand which is a drama set in the past. She began her acting career as a New Zealander who appeared on Diplomatic Immunity. The actress appeared in several television shows during the past ten years which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is currently performing the role of Mazikeen the character of Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fable Lucifer. Brandt was born in the city of Cape Town, South African. They moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Her career began as an actress in print commercial advertisements. Before becoming a famous model, Brandt worked as the retail salesperson, as well as a recruitment consultant for the information technology industry. In 2009, she landed her first acting role as Leilani in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Her first major appearance came in 2021 when she was the character of slave woman Naevia on the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Naevia's role was reprised on the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star on three different TV shows, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010) as well as Legend of the Seeker (2008).
